Strawberry-i-don't-want-to-study-cake with melted dark chocolate

1 more week until my law exam (liebste backschwester! exam as in klausur. nicht exam as in examen. das wäre dann finals. und da bin ich erst in 1,5 jahren! und vor den finals werde ich aber sowas von lernen und du wirst zur stärkung für mich backen!) and i reallyreallyreally didn't want to spent my sunday evening studying. bad, i know. and i already regret it – i think.  no, i deeply regret it.
what i don't regret though is baking this fabulous strawberry cake with lots of chocolate and custard and – super secret secret ingredient to make the shortcrust even better (basically it makes everything better and i always have a bottle close when i bake ;o)) – a dash of rum in the crust and yes, in the custard as well! rum is your friend and please – pretty please with a cherry on top – try not use rum aroma. rum aroma is not your friend.

the mini cake is for my sweet sister. since i always take the baked goods into the office or to friends or give them away to the needy and greedy, the sister – the poor thing – never gets any cake. today she got her own lil cake.

it's shortcrust and chocolate. do i have to say anything? 

lots of juicy delicious strawberries. i can never decide if my heart goes out for strawberries or cherries in the summer. i ♥ strawberrycherries.

chocolate, again! i was in a melting frenzy and couldn't stop. melting chocolate is delicious and fun and sweet and it turns into melted chocolate with strawberries ... thank goodness, the dane is coming home soon ;o)

and now the cake is gone. seriously. it didn't even take a whole morning. the sun is shining and it's finally summer, there will be more cake later. cherry cake. what a perfect day.

erdbeer-ich-drücke-mich-vorm-lernen-kuchen mit geschmolzener dunkler schokolade! der titel sagt alles. die bilder noch viel mehr. geschmolzene dunkle schokolade muss nicht kommentiert werden – oder? erdbeeren mit geschmolzener dunkler schokolade erst recht nicht.
der däne kommt bald nach hause, dann gibt es wieder anständige torten und kuchen und kekse und cupcakes and muffins und und und und backwaren! und ich werde aufhören über geschmolzene schokolade zu schreiben – vermutlich!
